Welcome to CUCD; CU Amiga Magazine's first self compiled Cover CD!
However, we can't claim credit for the vast bulk of the material
contained here. Many wonderful people helped out with previews of CDs,
PD/Shareware packages and all manner of suggestions and comments made
this CD a reality.
Firstly, if you didn't boot this CD then the icons might look funny.
Click on the 'Colour Me' icon so that you can see the glorious
Iconographics icons in all their glory. Many thanks to Tom Ekström for
letting us use his underrated icons. If the icons still don't look
right, your Workbench might not be set up in enough colours. Try 16
colours.
Everything else on the CD has been laid out group in topics from the
root directory (where this readme is located). For in depth contents
and instructions, have a look in the CD instructions/contents pages in
this months magazines (unless, of course, you pinched the CD off the
cover in which case we'll be around soon with the boys - Ed).
The theory behind the CD was that if a file has an icon, it should work. If
a directory is displayed by name then these are files designed to be
accessed other than by Workbench or there was simply too many files to be
practical to add Icons. Such a thing as the Magazine/Images directory and
some module archives like Johan Alpmars collections etc.
The Amiga E collection is undocumented further than what documents have been
provided by the authors of the Amiga E support files present. There should
be enough material there to keep Amiga E programmers happy for a long time.
